YWCA of WATSONVILLE

Early Childhood Education

The YWCA has long advocated for the health and safety of women and girls. We pioneered the first safe residence and child care center in the nation, and YWCA is the largest provider of battered women's shelters and domestic violence services in the country, serving over 500,000 women and children annually.

The YWCA Preschool Program serves 96 children, 225 days per year. Leveraging state funding and certified teachers, the YWCA's pre-school, called "La Escuelita", focuses on social and emotional development to support school readiness. Our focus is on developing children to reach their potential and strengthening families in the process!
